RVB NVL Women Back on Track
After disappointment of losing to Tendring earlier this month, Richmond Volleyball NVL Women’s team returned home from Dartford with a well deserved 3-0 victory (25-19, 25-14, 25-16). Richmond team performance had a solid base of fundamental skills that were consistent throughout the match.
Richmond started the 1st set serving but gave the first point to Dartford, only to sideout straight away to a 4 points lead with Erika Bradley serves. From that point Dartford Ladies did not have a chance to get ahead although they fought back hard. However, even after the longest rallies it was the Richmond side that knew how to score.
Richmond Coach Vera Kenyon commented: “It was great team effort. We have very strong servers and throughout the match they were putting a lot of pressure on Dartford passers. Despite some good blocking from Dartford, our spikers were undeterred and kept on finding the gaps to ground a ball.”
