Richmond stormed to a commanding lead by the second technical timeout in the first and second set – 16-7 and 16-9 respectively.
First set closed on 25-14. In the second set after a strong start the coach GSG made some changes in the lineup to finish in no time at 25-12. In the third set the hosts tried hard to turn the tables but visitors showed strong performance and great character to close the set and game by two clear points at 25-23.
Head Coach GSG commented : ” The team demonstrated good consistency in their performance and good concentration. Substitution players stayed alert and ready, and contributed very positively when on court. The future for this team is bright – just need to work hard in training, play as a unit and enjoy the game. Results will come very naturally”
