Richmond Volleyball started the day as underdogs and did well to outclass much fancied Wessex (2-0) and Cherwell VC (2-0) progressing to the Semi-Finals at the National Southern Divisional Finals held at Reading. Richmond then won against Dartford Beth Grammer School (2-0) to secure a place in the U15 National Finals for the 2nd year in a row. Read More
Richmond Volleyball and South London Volleyball League in partnership with Richmond Council and Volleyball England will be opening a new three court beach volleyball facility at Teddington School (Richmond) on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th April 2014
The finalists for two Men’s Division Finals from the South London Volleyball League end of season Championships Play-off finals have been revealed.
Held at the National Volleyball Centre in kettering, RVB Men were placed in a strong pool of four teams with Boswell Blaze, Chadwell Heath and Newcastle Staffs. The 1st round was held on Sat 8th Feb and RVB lost two matches. Then in the 2nd round held on Sun 2nd March RVB enjoyed victory against Newcastle Staffs (3-2) earned a 5th/6th play-off final against Exeter Storm. RVB battled very hard against an older and physical Exeter Storm and lost 3-1.
