It is with great sadness that we have to inform you that our dear friend Andre Montenegro passed away on Monday, the 23 November 2015.

Everyone who knew Andre will always remember his smile and friendliness, commitment and passion, support and positive attitude, generosity and humour.

He was one of the coordinators of the RVB Open Beach Volleyball Club and through his encouragement and coaching many new players got into volleyball.

We send our deepest sympathy to his family, in Richmond and in Brazil.

We will miss you , Andre!

August Bank Holiday weekend at Imber Court Sports Club in East Molesey was business as usual at the 7th Richmond Volleyball International Festival. It was great to see old and to make new friends and to enjoy good volleyball.

Congratulations to all winners and big thank you to volunteers for putting time and effort into organising this much loved by many annual tournament!

Uncompromising qualifying rounds on Saturday with non-stop games were a serious test of the teams’ fitness and endurance. On Sunday the teams proceeded to compete in Divisional semi-finals, followed by the 3d place play-offs and big Finals. On all courts competition was fierce and no one was prepared to give in to the end of third set.

Last weekend in August is a long one. If you want to use this time to the full and fill it with lots of games, socialising and entertainment, then send us your entry form now and challenge the rest. South London Volleyball League – DIVISIONAL FINALS DATES

Only one set of fixtures is on the way of finalising the ranking tables for the Divisional Finals of the South London Local League.

Division 1 Finals will be held on he 27th April (Monday) 7-10pm

PLEASE NOTE that due to the Bank holiday and venue availability in May finals for Division 2 and Division 3 will be not on Mondays:

Division 2 on 5th May (Tuesday) and Division 3 on 6th May(Wednesday).

Indoor Training for All Teams Starts Next Week

The indoor season for ALL teams starts from Monday, the 8th September. Please check the training schedule in Teams section.

Junior Development Centre starts on the Sunday, 14th September at Kingston College Arena at 9:30am. First session is for ALL ages and levels.
